Cape Codder
The Cape Cod National Seashore is looking for volunteers to help out in the Division of Interpretation and Cultural Resources Management.
“We’re seeking enthusiastic volunteers who like working with people, and have public speaking ability, research skills, or canoe skills,” said Superintendent George Price. “Of course, knowledge of, or a strong interest in learning about the cultural and natural history of the Seashore is ideal.”
Volunteers provide visitor information at visitor centers, present tours or open house programs at historic buildings, or assist rangers conducting guided canoe trips at various locations in the park.
For more information on these positions, call Salt Pond Visitor Center in Eastham at 508-255-3421, or stop by and visit with one of the volunteers at the information desk.
