Auditions for The New Provincetown Players, “Spending the Weekend with Eugene and Tennessee,” six short plays by Eugene O’Neill and Tennessee Williams on March 18 at 1 p.m., at The Provincetown Theater, 238 Bradford St.
The six plays are: “Recklessness, Before Breakfast, The Rope” by Eugene O’Neill, directed by Noel Carmichael; “These are the Stairs You Got to Watch, And Tell Sad Stories of the Death of Queens, Summer by the Lake” by Tennesee Williams, directed by Patrick Falco.
Needed are actors of all ages, male and female, teens to 60’s and 70’s. Performances are weekends, May 5 to May 28. There are four performances per weekend, with O’Neill and Williams in repertoire. Actors must be able to do all plays if needed and the rehearsal period will be quite intense. Small stipends are given and a mininum of equity guest artist contracts are available.
